Reconstruction of a house

The remodeling of an original row house in the historically built-up area of Bystřice pod Hostýnem focuses on the restoration of the disposition, increasing light transmission, and utilising the attic space. The design creates three commercial units and an apartment in the attic, complemented by dormer windows facing the street and garden. The clarification of the layout, the accentuation of the massive roof frame, and the openness of the living spaces support a contemporary way of utilisation. The farmyard is transformed into a recreational garden. The design uses a subtle colour scheme and respects the original scale of the building.
