Architectural study of the Becher townhouse

The study of the Becher townhouse emerged from a close partnership with the investor and reflects the urban and historical context of the location. The corner building with seven above-ground floors respects the shape and material characteristics of the surrounding buildings and complements the street frontage without disrupting its architectural character. The massing solution is based on the footprint of the plot, and the structural system consists of a reinforced concrete skeleton with a central core. The elegant appearance of the building is enhanced by a lightweight suspended glass façade. The flat roof serves as a technical and walkable area for the placement of technical installations. The total height of the building, approximately 23,3 m, corresponds to the urban scale of the location.
