Family House in Luhačovice

The family house in Luhačovice was designed in response to the sloping terrain and the investor’s requirements for comfortable family housing. The building has a partial basement, three floors, a mono-pitched roof, and a direct connection to the terrain. The layout is designed to connect the main living floor with the garden, while the basement serves as a garage and technical facility. The materiality is based on a combination of traditional natural materials – wood, brick masonry, stone, and mineral plaster. The design also includes an outdoor swimming pool located above the house with direct access from the living area. The overall design respects the character of the location and fits naturally into the surrounding landscape.
